Something we really need in this world is Smart Hot Hair Rollers! You know ladies, we have got to be able to turn on those hot rollers from our cell phones.
Imagine this! We are headed home from a very hard day at the office & have to get ready fast for that dinner meeting. Wouldn't it be nice to have your hair tools heated & ready to throw in your hair while you touch up your make & head out the door.
Another thing that would really be great is to make a cabinet to mount in your wall, just like a medicine cabinet, except when you open the door, you have the pegs that your hot rollers go on. Maybe 2 little drawers for the hair pins or etc.Nice & tidy, no taking out & setting up and no boxing up and placing them under the cabinet.
No Fuss, No Mess..
This is actually something I thought of years ago! Just wait until you see my idea about screens for your home windows! You are going to love this one.

Folgers Coffee Recycle Lids
So, don't laugh, ok, go ahead and laugh! That is what life is all about! So, I sent a great suggestion to Folgers & they are checking it out.
Here is the idea- You have all seen the Lock and Lock food storage containers. Awesome Lids have hinges on them.
My thought I submitted to Folgers is for them to do the same with the lids on their plastic containers. When we purchase the plastic container, the top of the lid is black & it says of course "FOLGERS" on it. Once we have emptied the container, we flip the lid over, the color on that side is GREEN & it says "RECYCLED COFFEE GROUNDS" . Also can be used as storage for other items. But this helps all aorund, We use our grounds for our garden, however here are other possible uses:
1. Deodorizer- Be sure to dry grounds out. Place them in a bowl & in your freezer or refrigerator.
2. Plant Food- Plants that prefer acidicsoils will appreciate the used coffee grounds. Please be sure to sprinkle alittle in your indoor plants soil also. The used grounds are terrific nutrients for any compost bin/pile!
3. Insect Repellent - If you do not want ants around, spread used coffee grounds in those areas or directly ontop of an ant pile. Used coffee grounds have also been known to repel slugs & snails.
4. Dye. By steeping grounds in hot water, you can make brown dye for fabric, paper and even Easter eggs.
5. Furniture scratch cover-up. Steep grounds and apply a bit of the liquid to furniture scratches with a Q-tip.
6. Cleaning product. As they’re slightly abrasive, grounds can be used as a scouring agent for greasy and grimy stain-resistant objects.
7. Kitty repellent. To keep kitty from using the garden as her personal powder room, sprinkle grounds mixed with orange peels around your plants.
8. Flea dip. Follow up Fido’s shampoo with a coffee ground rub down, working them down to his skin. Not only are the fleas suppose to vamoose, but puppy’s hair will feel soft too.
9. Dust inhibitor. Before you clean out the fireplace, toss wet coffee grounds over the ashes to keep the ash dust under control.
10. Odor Remover. Rub them on your hands to get rid of food prep smells

Baby Crib Recall- Great Uses For these Old Cribs

Option 1
Take the drop down front off - reinforce the metal spring on all sides to support up to adult weight. Place a nice covered cushion. "PRESTO" A daybed for any room in the house!
Option 2
Cut the legs down so the entire framework is lowered & sits firmly on the floor. "PRESTO" again!
Instant playpen for the little one or maybe even your pet!
Option 3
If the crib is slatted. You could take the front off & make the daybed mentioned above & take the front slatted piece. Mount it in your closet in Portrait Position with brackets that keep it a few inches away from the wall. "PRESTO" You have a tie/belt holder along with your daybed. That's a twofer (Two for One)
Option 4
Remove the drop down front & make the daybed above, using the front panel as a room divider for children or pets. "Presto" another twofer
Option 5
Cut the legs down, spray the bed with a waterproof coat- use it for a small herb garden. Or any other type of garden. Imagine seeing your baby's cribs with beautiful blooming Tulips growing up over the edges of the crib. New Life, year after year, after year!

I have to ask this question! Is it just me, or has customer service and common courtesy changed so drastically that employers in nail salons allow their employees to wear headphones to listen to music while they are giving a person a manicure. Wow, That is really out there. I would not believe it, had I not sat next to the gentleman doing exactly this. Of course I told my nail technician, he should never consider doing that as I would never come back. Of course, I have been going to him for a nice long while.
So strange what we have allowed to come to be as The New Serivce we Receive!
Not me, I have always believed in treating everyone with kindness & respect & to receive the same in return. No, we can't demand respect, but you can sure walk away from rudeness! These individuals will eventually get the message when they lose enough customers.!

Idea # 3 Retail Stores Lower your advertising Expense
Good Day Everyone!
Is anyone laughing yet? I hope so! It gets the brain really working & if you can't laugh, well, it is truly a sad day! I HAVE TO SAY, THIS IDEA #3 IS HUGE! Be sure to spread the word to any business owner you know! They will definitely appreciate it!
So, in working in the retail furniture industry for over 21 years, I have had my share of "THE BIG EVENTS". The advertising, the balloons, the decor & putting up signage in your windows. Then the take down of everything, all for one or two days. Yes, we hope that all this was worth it, especially if we had a $$ BIG DAY $$.
Then comes the removal of the signage in your windows, leaving tape stuck to your windows or you have the worked that wants to do a great job & takes a razor knife with him to remove the tape. Only to cut and peal your window tinting. Leaving it with a look as if a slasher has been at your windows.

How about a small initial investments in a simple home item. Clear Tinted Window Shades!
Moving forward, all you have to do is buy paper signage & small magnets. Pull the tinted shade to the level you want it. Place you inexpensive paper signage at the level your desire on the tinted shade. Place magnets on the front & back side of each corner of your sign to hold the sign up. You can even place signage on both sides of your "Clear Tinted Window Shades". On one side for those walking by or driving by your store & on the inside for those inside your store.
The great idea with this is. You can move your signs around in the window when you feel traffic has slowed for this event. Hence creating a look of a BRAND NEW EVENT. All without damaging your windows or your paper signage.
You are probably hearing more about the re-usable clear ez stick banners. Just stick them on & you can re-use thm time & time again.... Some have a 4 year warranty..But, they are not real cheap!

Idea #2 Arriving Early - Spending more time with family & benefiting your entire body posture!
Stick with me on this one. I need to let you know where the idea came from. On this idea, it is really already out there, however, the revenue for it is actually for The Retail Furniture Store Industry. That of which I have spent 21 years working in. Tons of fun, meeting many great people and some not so.... But then again, buying furniture is in the top 3 of Major Purchases for most individuals & it can make one a little stressed out writing that check.
Coming into somewhat of an early semi-retirement at the young age of age 46, after spending a little time in the Radio Broadcast Arena, I have been doing a bit of volunteer work/service in the community. Being a member of The Naples-Collier Rotary Club, & The Conservancy of SWFLA. I have spent much time in my @ my home office, sitting at my desk, researching & writing articles.
I noticed when I sit at the counter height bar in my kitchen & on a bar stool working with my lap top, I sit much straighter. My feet sit on the rung around the bottom of the stool, hence, I am not crossing my legs & stressing my back or cutting off circulation. I have a better posture & my neck is not strained. Also, if I want to get up and stand to stretch my legs, I can still work without bending over to get to the keyboard. I can stand and work. Another great benefit is, my family can stand around the counter while I work & we are still spending time together. It is a much more approachable level for eye contact & interaction. No one feels they are interrupting me as they would if I were sitting at a regular height desk.
With the standard desk in most offices or home, they are usually facing a wall. If someone walks up to me, my back is to them & they do not want to interrupt me while I am working.
The Counter Height Tables have become a huge seller over the past 5 years. Retail Furniture Stores really need to look into stocking & selling The Counter Height Desks. Not just for adults but children also.
In reading the research on this, it is vital in these HI-TECH Times with children learning, playing and just being on the computer at such a young age, this is the most important time to help them with their posture at the most important time in their growing period.
So, that's it! That is my 2nd thought for you all! Check out some of these other pictures & share with any Furniture Store Owner or even your friends. I can guarantee they will thank you profusely!

Idea #1
Here we go!
So, my very first idea I want to share with you is:
The Six Pack Beer or Wine Cooler Carrier For Women!
How I came up with this idea a few years back, I had purchased a 6 pack of Wine Coolers for my friend. I proceeded to cover the carrier in pink fabric, with lace, bows & Jewel Stones.
It took a bit of time, but it turned out to be awesome! The ideas are really limitless. I suppose you could make really cool ones for you MEN out there!
My thought is someone should manufacture these and sell as Novelty Items for gifts.
Then a person could go out and purchase the six pack of wine or beer & place them in the Novelty Carrier. That makes the entire idea of getting a six pack a really special gift.
I will have to make another one & I will post it on my blog.
