Baby Crib Recall- Great Uses For these Old Cribs

Check out some of the innovative ways to use these old side drop baby cribs!

Option 1
Take the drop down front off - reinforce the metal spring on all sides to support up to adult weight. Place a nice covered cushion. "PRESTO" A daybed for any room in the house!

Option 2
Cut the legs down so the entire framework is lowered & sits firmly on the floor. "PRESTO" again!
Instant playpen for the little one or maybe even your pet!

Option 3
If the crib is slatted. You could take the front off & make the daybed mentioned above & take the front slatted piece. Mount it in your closet in Portrait Position with brackets that keep it a few inches away from the wall.  "PRESTO" You have a tie/belt holder along with your daybed. That's a twofer (Two for One)

Option 4
Remove the drop down front & make the daybed above, using the front panel as a room divider for children or pets. "Presto" another twofer

Option 5
Cut the legs down, spray the bed with a waterproof coat- use it for a small herb garden. Or any other type of garden. Imagine seeing your baby's cribs with beautiful blooming Tulips growing up over the edges of the crib. New Life, year after year, after year!

Option 6
Make the daybed above and use the front panel as a garden gate! Yet another twofer

Option 7
Make the daybed above, If the front panel is slatted, Get 4-6 chains the same length & hang in your kitchen as a place to hang your pots & pans. Nice Culinary Accent! Especially if you cook alot! Don't you just love these twofers!

Option 8
Make The daybed above, And with a simple sheet or blanket, you can make an indoor tent for indoor camping!

Option 9
Cut the legs off so all four sides sit firmly on the ground. "PRESTO" Toy Box!


Option 10
Cut the legs off, cut panels down to fit & use for sides on a wagon

Option 11
If the front drop down is a flat panel, remove the front panel, make the daybed mentioned above & take the front panel & make two kickstand type legs for one side of the front panel. You can now use the panel as an easel. Maybe purchase an old chalkboard from a thrift store. Cut it down to fit your panel. Or use it with a large pad of paper on it for drawing.
